Radio Haze

Radio Haze

Radio Haze blurs the boundaries of rock music with their timeless psychedelic tunes infused with soulful blues. With supporting tours for legends like ZZ Top, Uriah Heep, Ten Years After, and Nazareth to their credit, and a discography boasting 5 LPs/4 EPs, the sound of the power trio from Germany is ideal for music lovers, vinyl collectors, and fans of handmade guitar music. No matter if you're music lover, record collector, musician, or simply admirer of handmade guitar music, the sound of Radio Haze lingers and leaves its own distinct footprints on the landscape of rock music. The power trio from Abensberg (Germany) blends all different facets the history of rock music has to offer into their own timeless authentic musical heritage while climbing personal mountains and observing their constantly changing circumstances. Formed as studio project in 2007 by Philipp Janoske (guitar/vox) and the brothers Robert Hubi Hofmann (bass/vox) and Michael Air Hofmann (drums/vox), Radio Haze released their 1st EP 'Vitamin R' (2007) and LP 'Mycelium' (2009) growing their roots, but since their 2nd LP 'The Growth' (2010) they have also grown as a touring band on their way to place a spark in every RNR-lover's heart. To confirm their variety and to meet demands to play unplugged shows in smaller venues they even trip into psychedelic acoustic spheres with 'The Psychoustic Sessions' EP (2012), solely available as an affectionately designed 10" vinyl with paintings to each song. Their 3rd LP 'Momentum' (2014) deals with the process of getting older, but sharing stages with legends like ZZ Top, Uriah Heep, Nazareth, Ten Years After, Manfred Mann's Earth Band, or newcomers like Graveyard, The Brew, Dead Lord, or Therapy? showed them that you're never too old to rock and roll. 'The Psychoustic Sessions II' (2016) continues from where the sold-out precursor stopped: four songs from the last LP re-arranged as psychedelic unplugged tunes plus one brand-new song. They even released a skateboard video showcasing their music and love for the scene they've been an active part of 'Before The Haze'. Sometimes life puts the most unpredictable obstacles in one's way that one has to overcome somehow. The band also had to struggle with personal issues and other circumstances during the last years, hence their 4th LP deals with this particular topic and therefore is called 'Mountains' (2018). The trilogy has been completed by releasing 'The Psychoustic Sessions III' (2019) and now their 5th LP called 'Strangers' (2021), which was recorded during 2020's Corona Crisis and deals with topics of personal and social alienation, is released via Slash Zero Records as LP/CD package in a 48-page hardcover photobook with analog photography by Ludwig Van Borkum.
